These maps are incorporated into the Flora of Virginia app (https://floraofvirginia.org/flora-app/) and are an ever-growing resource for understanding what plant species grow where in the Commonwealth. Because of the speed of biological invasions\, creating accurate and up-to-date distribution maps for non-natives and invasives is particularly challenging. \n\n\n\nJoin the webinar to learn how you can help us fill the “gaps in the maps” with vouchered specimens and a simple reporting protocol! \n\n\n\nNote: To be recognized by the Department of Conservation and Recreation Natural Heritage Program\, all plants must be documented with one of the Commonwealth’s herbaria.
