💡 ESMN Chapter Meeting: Speaker Christopher Hein, Director of VIMS Geology Lab
July 17, 2024 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Christopher Hein, Director of the VIMS Geology Lab will give an update on the Cedar Island Project.
The project aims to improve barrier-island and marsh resilience on a 216-acre site to protect against coastal erosion and island breaching, while expanding wildlife habitat and ecosystem services. This will help protect underserved coastal communities against the impacts of coastal flooding and damage from storm surge.
