Overview

Explore the beautiful Brownsville Preserve from a new perspective. Join TNC for a peaceful kayak paddle through the winding tidal creek.

Let the water carry you deep into the world of salt marshes, fiddler crabs, shorebirds, and coastal beauty. Participants will meet at TNC’s Volgenau Virginia Coast Reserve Office in Nassawadox, VA and take a wagon ride through the Brownsville Nature Preserve down to the tidal creek. The paddle will be led by TNC’s Conservation Education Specialist, Kate Colman and Environmental Education Program Manager, Jenny Miller.
