Marine Life Day at VIMS

Join us for a fun and educational day exploring marine life found on Virginia’s Eastern Shore! Join staff and students to discover how science and real-world questions intersect in Wachapreague, VA. We will have touch tanks, live displays, creatures under microscopes, crafts and activities, and opportunities to speak with our scientists! Featured research and displays will include shellfish, crustaceans, fish, sharks, and many more!

All activities are free, as is parking. The event proceeds rain or shine. This event is free, open to all ages, and will take place rain or shine.
